Caller Type: Scam

This number has just been reported to their fraud department of their phone provider being Symbio Networks. They use this number to see if it is a usable number to spoof, no need to answer as long as it rings it is usable, they then do a Man In The Middle Hack to spoof your number to make other calls to do their scams.

Called again 2/8. I answered so I could get information. Again, only "0" showed up, not (03) or (02). Caller said he was ringing from New South Wales. Ringing on behalf of Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation, a charity. Telephone 1300 733 151. I obtained Licence No., ABN Number etc. so it appears to be quite genuine. Mystery solved - ONLY IT IS A NSW NUMBER , not (03) Victoria/Tasmania - THOUGH (02) DOES NOT SHOW UP ON DISPLAY SCREEN.

They rang again, 12.22 p.m. Sat. 29/7. I did not answer. Once again, the prefix was only "0". I assume it was (03).

Call from 9034 9793, at 12.02 p.m. 26th July, which I did not answer. However, my display screen showed the prefix as "0" - there was a digit missing. I cannot say for sure it IS (03) 9034 9793 or whether it is from (07) or (08) -- no results for (02). But this is the number which seems to have complaints.
