Yes I received the same call claiming to be the Nbn technician. Scary how they knew all my details too. I did give them my card details and instead of the $240 fee they took $2076 from my card. Called to cancel my card immediately and put a stop to the payment.

Received a call (from no caller ID), claiming to be from Telstra Provision team re my recent NBN order. Had all my details ( DL number address etc), and wanting to give Credit Card details to deduct fee for NBN Co. I was suspicious and asked a call back number. He provided this number 0280033447. I called Telstra support and they said that it is not from them- must be a scam call.
