Scam. Said from Telstra & that my Internet conn cation was bad. I said I have no Internet & he instantly hung up.

Just received a call from this number. It was clearly a call centre, the "gentleman" had an Arabic accent. He introduced himself as Steve Roger and said he was callling from my NBN (dead giveaway - there is no NBN number connected to the phone number he dialed). I kept saying "Hello", "Hello" and he started insulting me. Calling me an a-hole, and a muver fackerrr with a strong r. How nice! These guys keep on getting better and better.

the caller was with indian accent saying he was from NBN and my line may be being hacked. I said notify my provider. he did not know who that was. call terminated & blocked .

Caller claimed to be from National Broadband Network, there was a problem with my internet connection and were going to upgrade my service to fiber and modem at no cost. When I mentioned that there has been no fiber cable being installed in my street they hung up. I kept them talking for 20 minutes to waste their time. I suspect a scam.
