Just received a call from them saying there is a warrant issued for my arrest for tax fraud. Asking for x amount of dollars to be paid via Walmart card. Cut it off. Be careful they are smart ones.

Had an automated message left on my phone from number 03 8362 5051 ... alarm bells immediately went up as automated message in American accent ... very garbled and unintelligible message but to effect of possible tax evasion and warrant being issued ... immediately suspect as ATO would send formal documentation and under rule of law an opportunity to explain tax anomalies ... googled number online and suspicions confirmed ... SCAM ... before blocking number, phoned and call answered by perpetrator with tag line "Australian Taxation Office" ... advised him that had reported his scam to Police, there were online message boards warning of his scam and he was scum ... number successfully blocked
