A SCAMMER with SMS "Mum, I dropped my phone in the sink and got a new number, send me money" SCAM Friday 29 August 2025.
Scammed bank details and pretended to be child of the victim, asking the pensioner victim for $2400 - saying they would pay her back next week.
Scammer refused to pick up the call from the pensioner - replied with "Can't talk now, Mum please send me the money".
